Application for certification of a class action filed on 2023.5.23

Mr. Sylvain Desroches (the "Plaintiff") wishes to institute a class action on behalf of the persons included in the following Class to which he belongs (the "Class"): All persons in Quebec who have been illegally detained, either on the basis of a document that does not comply with a court order, either at the end of a term of imprisonment or after a court has ordered their release, these persons being in particular, but not limited to, identified on the registry of persons unlawfully detained by the Attorney General of Quebec.
